What is The Recovery Course?
The Recovery Course is a free 15-week course based on the 12-step programme of Alcoholics Anonymous, incorporating Christian principles.
It is designed for anyone seeking to break free from a dependence on an addiction, compulsive behaviour or secret habit.
We welcome everyone, regardless of ethnicity, religious beliefs, sexual orientation or gender identity.
Some people join the course to intentionally invest in their recovery, while others are looking to address more specific challenges. Either way, the course offers practical ideas, essential tools and support to help people understand addiction and find lasting recovery.
Who is the course for?
The course is open to anyone struggling with an addiction or compulsive behaviour.
What's involved?
The course runs for 15 weeks, with one session each week.
Each session includes:
A teaching video
A personal testimony
Time in single-sex groups
Exploring the 12 Steps
Knowledge and practical skills to help understand addiction and work towards recovery
